iCanConnect Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program

Don’t let vision and hearing loss keep you from staying connected! The National Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program (NDBEDP) provides a wide variety of free communication equipment to people with significant combined hearing and vision loss who meet federal income guidelines. Available equipment includes:

  • Computers – including desktop PCs, laptop PCs, monitors and more
  • Mobile Devices – including cell phones, smartphones, tablets and more
  • Braille Devices
  • Traditional Phones – including amplified speaker phones, cordless phones and more
  • Signalers – including audible, visual and vibrating options
  • Software – including screen readers and screen magnifier programs
  • Accessories – including specialized keyboards, mounts, switches, headsets and more
