Communications AssistantsWith Relay calls, a specially trained Communications Assistant (CA) is used to facilitate the call at no cost to the users. There are no restrictions on the length, frequency, or nature of your call. The CA serves as an intermediary by relaying the conversation between the hearing person and the deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech-disabled person.

All calls can be initiated by either party by simply dialing 7-1-1.
